New Head Appointed to Military Police
The Military Police of the Republic of Armenia has a new head. By a decree from President Armen Sarkissian, Ashot Zakaryan has been appointed as the head of the military police of the Ministry of Defense.
This information was provided by the Press Office of the President of the Republic of Armenia.
"Based on the proposal of the Prime Minister and in accordance with the first part of Article 133 of the Constitution, as well as the first part of Article 35.1 and the first part of Article 36, Clause 1 of the Law on Military Service and the Status of Servicemen, and the third part of Article 5 of the Law on the Military Police: Ashot Zakaryan is appointed as the head of the military police of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia," the decree states.
