Over 100 Rural Roads in Aragatsotn Region to Be Repaired

The asphalt concrete cover from roads being renovated in Armenia, in the form of crushed asphalt, is being utilized for the repair of rural roads. As a result of the renovation of the section of the M3 road from the Turkey border to Vanadzor, specifically the stretch from Ushi to the Tareyri area, the demolished asphalt concrete cover will be provided to more than 20 communities in the Aragatsotn region for the repair of over 100 rural roads.

This information was reported on the Facebook page of the Aragatsotn Regional Administration. “The provided crushed asphalt will be sufficient for the improvement of 15-20 km of inland community roads. Local residents are also involved in the paving works, thereby participating in the enhancement of their locality,” the statement noted. It was mentioned that the crushed asphalt for the 3.5 km segment located in the territory of the Aparan community will be delivered to the consolidated Aparan community in the coming days through the mediation of Regional Governor David Gevorgyan, for the renovation of the rural roads across all 21 populated areas. Recently, approximately 500 truckloads of asphalt have been allocated to the Aparan community from the Hartavan-Kuchak section for this purpose.
