Yerevan Municipality Building Lit in Colors of Beirut and Lebanon's National Flag

In a show of solidarity, the Yerevan Municipality building was illuminated this evening in the colors of Beirut and Lebanon's national flag. This was announced on the official Facebook page of the Yerevan Municipality, which also shared photos.

It is recalled that 11 Armenians lost their lives in the Beirut port explosion, with 250 others sustaining injuries of varying degrees, and several are reported missing. Most of the victims are young women, and the names of many of those killed are known.

In total, 137 people were killed in the explosion, with more than 5,000 injured, and 80 individuals missing.

The building of the National Assembly of Armenia has also been illuminated.
