Press: Terror Declared Against Russian Cadres in NSS, Kyaramyan Orders Cleanup of 'Russian Spies'

According to the 'Press' newspaper, a terror has begun against the so-called Russian cadres within the National Security Service (NSS) under the directive of Argishti Kyaramyan. Those officers who studied at the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia and are suspected of maintaining ties with that organization have become targets of the young director.

As reported by our sources in the NSS, Kyaramyan has instructed to initiate service investigations against some, while others are to be removed—by whatever means necessary—aiming to 'clean the system of Russian spies.'

In the early days following his appointment, those familiar with Kyaramyan indicated that he would soon implement anti-Russian measures due to his known animosity towards Russia. As evidence, they pointed to the state attacks in 2018 against the South Caucasus Railways operating in Armenia, which were carried out under his direction while he was at the State Oversight Service.
