I Am Planning to Appear in Military Attire Soon, Says Anna Hakobyan

I am planning to appear in military attire soon. This was stated by Anna Hakobyan, the wife of the Prime Minister of Armenia, during a Facebook briefing with Azatutyun in response to a question from a user regarding her military image and how it has been perceived by society.

“I do not understand the question of whether my image has been discussed or not; I understand that it has been debated a lot, and there have been many speculations. But I want to remind you that I am not the only woman, nor the only civilian woman, wearing military uniform. There have been MPs or journalists in the past, both before and after the revolution, who have worn military uniforms or part of it during events in the army,” Anna Hakobyan stated.

In response to a commentator’s observation about her name being frequently mentioned in various businesses, Hakobyan responded that there is no basis for such rumors. “I am no longer following it, nor do I care. Sometimes we go to court, but it is quite a complicated process, time-consuming, especially in our case, where you can get embroiled in dozens of such processes. All publications regarding our family are bare-faced lies. Our journalism is reaching new heights. This is a sad fact,” she remarked.
