I Call on Everyone to Continue Wearing Masks, Which Will Allow for a Coronavirus-Free Armenia: Torosyan

Due to the current situation, the bed capacity is being scaled back. At this moment, we have 15 hospitals dealing with coronavirus infections, down from 20. Additionally, two more will soon return to their primary operations. This was stated by the Minister of Health, Arsen Torosyan, during a press briefing.

According to Torosyan, the ultimate goal is to one day have no hospitals fighting against coronavirus, and to achieve that, it is essential to maintain epidemic control measures, no matter how inconvenient they may be. “I urge everyone to continue wearing masks, almost everywhere except at home and while eating. We must maintain social distance and sanitize our hands, which will allow us to have a coronavirus-free Armenia,” he noted.
