Extension of State of Emergency is a Disgraceful Decision: Edmon Marukyan

Edmon Marukyan, the head of the 'My Step' faction in the National Assembly, made a post on his Facebook page entitled 'Extension of the State of Emergency is a Disgraceful Decision'.

'The decision to extend the state of emergency for another month is not justified or warranted in any way. The necessary restrictions can also be maintained under other legal acts, such as the Law on Ensuring Sanitary and Epidemiological Safety of the Population of the Republic of Armenia.'

'The extension of the state of emergency inflicts a severe blow to all sectors of our country and once again serves as a basis for other countries to maintain entry bans from our country. The extension of the state of emergency is a disgraceful decision by a government incapable of implementing any alternative,' he added.
