Nikol Pashinyan Receives Representatives of Wine and Brandy Producing Companies
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has received representatives of wine and brandy producing companies to discuss the government’s support mechanisms for the grape procurement process due to the crisis situation. This was reported by the Government of Armenia.
Economy Minister Tigran Khachatryan presented the tool for providing preferential credit resources to ensure uninterrupted grape procurement and the mechanisms envisaged within its framework.
The representatives of the companies emphasized the importance of government support and expressed gratitude for the attention shown to the sector, stressing that under these conditions, procurement will be carried out in the necessary volumes.
Prime Minister Pashinyan instructed the Minister of Economy to continue intensive discussions with sector representatives over the next week to clarify the support mechanisms and prepare a draft decision for the government.
The meeting also addressed issues related to sales volumes, exports, and market diversification. In these areas as well, the Prime Minister has given relevant instructions to those responsible.
