Tragic Incident in Kotayk Region: Bodies of 3 Men Found in Abandoned Gold Mine

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, a tragic incident occurred in the Kotayk region on June 9. At around 11:10 PM, the emergency situations ministry's rescue service received a call reporting that three bodies were found in a tunnel of an abandoned gold mine located in the administrative area of Meghradzor village.

Rescuers, police, and several citizens approached the gold mine on foot, approximately 2 kilometers away, and discovered the bodies of the three individuals in the tunnel. Preliminary information suggests they died from carbon monoxide poisoning.

The rescuers, citizens, and police carried the deceased approximately 2 kilometers on a stretcher to a waiting ambulance.
