Several Young Men Detained in Dilijan: Automatic Weapons Found in Their Vehicle

On June 8, the police carried out a special operation in the city of Dilijan based on received operational data, as reported by Shamshyan.com. During the operation, at around 23:50, several residents of Yerevan were detained on suspicion of illegally possessing and transporting weapons and ammunition near a stationary checkpoint on Kamo Street.

The detainees are identified as 28-year-old Movses Navasardyan, 27-year-old Davit Aslanyan, 29-year-old Simon Simonian, 29-year-old Edgar Avdalyan, and 30-year-old Arthur Oseyan. They were in a Mercedes Benz S500 vehicle with the license plate 07 LT 070, in which two submachine guns were discovered. The individuals have been arrested.
