Illegal Structures Demolished in Botanical Garden
The Yerevan Municipality has announced that illegal structures have been demolished in the territory of the Botanical Garden following decisions made by the Mayor of Yerevan.
According to the press release, efforts were organized jointly by the Department of Urban Development and Land Control of the Yerevan Municipality, the Public Order Protection Service, and the staff of the Avan administrative district's leadership. The demolitions were carried out in compliance with the respective decisions (1676-A, 1677-A) issued by the Mayor of Yerevan. Specifically, two unauthorized constructions—a stone wall and a metal fence built by the 'KETRIN GROUP' and 'LEV GROUP' companies—were removed from the state-owned land managed by the Institute of Botany named after A. Takhtajyan, located at 1 Acharian Street.
These demolitions were executed based on administrative proceedings initiated pursuant to relevant letters from the Republic of Armenia’s State Inspection Service. The demolitions followed due process facilitated by the Department of Urban Development and Land Control of the Yerevan Municipality, based on appropriate decisions from the Mayor pertaining to the demolitions.
