Identity of Individual Who Fired Shots in Tavush Revealed; He Turned Himself in to Police
On May 28, at 18:50, the Ijevan police department received a report of gunfire in the "Agaya" area of Ijevan.
Upon arriving at the scene, police determined that around 18:00, one of three residents of Ijevan had detonated four fireworks to protect horses from a pack of wolves in the "Agaya" area.
The individuals involved were summoned to the police station, where they presented six fireworks from their vehicle's interior.
Through operational and investigative measures carried out in connection with the ongoing case, police successfully ascertained that shots had indeed been fired. The shots were fired by a 42-year-old man, who eventually turned himself in to the police following explanatory work by the authorities.
The man handed over a factory-numbered "SKS" hunting rifle to the officers. The investigation is ongoing.
