Fire in a House in Abovyan

On May 26, at 18:39, the National Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia received a call about a fire in one of the apartments of building No. 3 on Republic Street in Abovyan city.

Two fire brigades from the Kotayk regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the fire had originated in the kitchen of the apartment.

The fire was contained by 19:21 and extinguished by 19:42. Approximately 10 square meters of household waste that had accumulated in the kitchen (about 12 square meters) was burned, along with one window and one door. There were no injuries reported.

As a result of the firefighting efforts, firefighters prevented the spread of the fire to adjacent rooms, and there was no need to evacuate the building's residents.
