Driver Dies in Opel Corsa Accident in Narek Village
On May 26, at 15:27, the National Crisis Management Center received information about a traffic accident at the end of Narek village, in an area known as "Drivers' Spring". There were reports of injuries.
A firefighting-rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ Ararat regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that near the area called "Yapa's Gorge" in Narek village, an Opel Corsa vehicle (driver: Hakob M., born in 1958) had left the roadway and overturned, resulting in the death of the driver Hakob M. at the scene.
The rescuers cut off the vehicle's power and stopped the gas leak from the gas cylinder. Using special equipment, they removed the driver’s body from the vehicle and brought it closer to an ambulance.
