Parents of Little Alex Registered as Offenders, Says Nelly Duryan

The head of the 3rd Division of the Police's Criminal Investigation Department, Police Colonel Nelly Duryan, wrote on her Facebook page: "Yesterday, information circulated on the internet regarding 7-year-old Alex Stepanyan being subjected to violence. I would like to inform you that the case immediately came to the attention of the police, and since yesterday, the police have been addressing this issue. The child has been moved to a support center. Emergency intervention protective measures have been applied against the parents. They have been registered as offenders at the territorial division of the police. Materials are being prepared regarding the act of violence."

It should be noted that little Alex, who lives with his mother and stepfather and has been subjected to humiliation, was transferred yesterday to the "Zatik" children's support center.
