Man Accidentally Shoots Himself in the Leg While Placing Gun in Vehicle

On May 25, at 3:18 PM, the Ararat police department received a report from the hospital that a 36-year-old man had sought medical assistance for a leg injury.

Police in Ararat determined that on May 24, at approximately 6:00 PM, the man accidentally shot himself in the leg while placing his personal type 'TIR' air gun inside his vehicle at his property in the village of Ararat.

The air gun has been confiscated for examination.
