Body of 40-Year-Old Man Discovered Near Church Entrance in Abovyan

At approximately 12:30 PM, the Kotayk police received a call reporting a body near the church adjacent to the Saralanj cemetery in Abovyan. Police and investigators discovered the body of 40-year-old Ara Poghosyan lying on the ground near the entrance door of the church.

The forensic expert, upon examining the body on site, indicated that the deceased had sustained numerous injuries to the head. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident.
