Once Again I Confirm: I Am Not the Author of Yesterday's Post - Arthur Aleksanyan

The Olympic champion, multiple world and European champion, wrestler Arthur Aleksanyan has provided details to the Armenian Wrestling Federation regarding the famous post on his Facebook page. This information has been relayed by the Wrestling Federation of Armenia.

“Dear compatriots, since yesterday the media has not ceased speculating regarding the post made on the Facebook page under my name. I once again confirm that I am not the author of that post made on the Facebook page that operates under my name. I have been aware of that page, but since it has always made posts referencing my official Instagram page, I did not see any issue.

Currently, that Facebook page is blocked, but there are other accounts on both Facebook and Instagram under my name, to which I am also not associated. Therefore, to avoid misunderstandings and the spread of misinformation, please follow only my official page on Instagram,” the clarification states.

It is worth recalling that earlier, a post on Aleksanyan's page stated, “Gurgen, don’t give up. #Respect #Solidarity,” in which the wrestler expressed his support for Gurgen Khachatryan, the son of the former head of the State Revenue Committee, who is currently on the wanted list.
