New Charges Filed Against 'Don Pipoy'
New charges have been filed against Arthur Asatryan, commonly known by the nickname 'Don Pipoy'. This information was confirmed to NEWS.am by the press service of the Investigative Committee.
The charges were brought under Article 322 of the RA Criminal Code (self-justice). It is noteworthy that Arthur Asatryan is also facing another charge that is currently being tried in court.
According to the indictment in the ongoing criminal case, on May 20, 2017, Arthur Asatryan organized and led a group of individuals acting in preliminary agreement, who used items serving as weapons to abduct three individuals: Vazgen Ghazakhchyan, Artak Aivazyan, and Arkadi Kochinyan, which was accompanied by the use of violence dangerous to the health of the latter two.
The case concerning these individuals is currently being examined in court. They are accused of carrying out actions aimed at preparing for the murder of Arthur Asatryan, as well as Gevorg Melikyan, known by the nickname 'Geforik', a so-called 'thief in law' from Osha and Andranik Sogoyan, known as 'Zap', following an order received from Zohrap Ghumashyan.
