Serzh Sargsyan Questioned by NSS

The lawyer team of the third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, denies the information about the initiation of a new criminal case against their client, while noting that the former president has been questioned as a witness by the National Security Service (NSS).

In this regard, the lawyer team of Serzh Sargsyan has released a statement.

"We announce that news circulated in some media, claiming that a new criminal case has been opened against the third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, is absolutely misinformation. We also note that last week, Mr. President was questioned in the NSS investigative department in the capacity of a witness regarding a case that does not involve any allegations of bribery. We urge everyone to refrain from spreading misinformation," the statement reads.
