A Prosecutor from One of the Offices of the Prosecutor General's Office has Tested Positive for Coronavirus
A prosecutor from one of the offices of the Republic of Armenia's Prosecutor General's Office has tested positive for coronavirus and is currently receiving appropriate treatment. This information was confirmed to NEWS.am by the head of the public relations department of the Prosecutor General's Office, Arevik Khachatryan.
She stated that his health condition is good and according to the information available from the Prosecutor's Office, there is a positive trend in improvement.
"He has not had fever and serious symptoms of the viral disease. The circle of people in contact with him has been identified; family members have been isolated in a designated location. Meanwhile, some colleagues he interacted with are in self-isolation. We currently do not have any information regarding symptomatic cases among them. If symptoms arise, immediate measures will be taken for their testing," Arevik Khachatryan noted.
She mentioned that most employees of the Prosecutor's Office are working from home. "Measures are being taken at the Prosecutor General's Office to prevent the spread of coronavirus among employees. For some time now, most employees, including prosecutors, have been conducting their work in self-isolation at their residence or place of actual stay. All employees who come to work are required to have their temperatures checked daily, and disinfection work is regularly carried out in the administrative buildings of the Prosecutor's Office. The last double disinfection was conducted this past Sunday. In addition, all employees' offices are supplied with alcohol gels or other disinfectants."
