Pigs Perish in Megradzor Village Fire

On April 13, at 14:12, the National Crisis Management Center received a report of a barn fire in the village of Megradzor, Kotayk Province. A team of two fire-rescue units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations responded to the scene.

The fire was contained by 15:08 and extinguished by 15:47. Approximately 60 units of stored animal feed were burned in the barn owned by Arayik A., and 2 pigs perished. Rescuers managed to bring approximately 90 pigs out of the barn.
