Urgent: A soldier of the Armed Forces of Artsakh wounded by enemy gunfire

On April 5, around 5:30 PM, a soldier from one of the military units stationed in the eastern direction of the Defense Army sustained a gunshot wound from enemy fire while on duty at a guard post. The injured soldier, Arayik Roberti Shahbazyan, born in 2000, was immediately evacuated to a military hospital, and his condition is assessed as satisfactory.

An investigation is underway to clarify the details of the incident. The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh urges the opposing side to refrain from provocative actions and declares that in the event of further escalation, the full responsibility for the consequences will lie with the Azerbaijani side.
