Valuable Jewelry and Cash Stolen from Avet Barskyan's Father-in-Law's House

On April 12, a major theft incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 11:30 PM, the Malatya Police Station received a call from 58-year-old Abraham K., a resident of a house on Varuzhan Street in Yerevan. He reported that on the same day, between 7:00 PM and 11:00 PM, an unknown individual or individuals entered his home under unknown circumstances and stole gold and silver jewelry and cash.

The operational group of the Malatya Police Station and the investigative team from the Yerevan City Investigative Department's Malatia-Sebastia administrative district were dispatched to the scene. Based on the findings, Investigator Margaryan from the investigative division initiated a criminal case.

According to sources, Abraham K. is the father of Avet Barskyan's wife, a well-known presenter and songwriter, and the thief or thieves stole approximately $110,000 worth of gold and silver jewelry and cash from the home.
