Government to Reimburse 50% of Gas and Electricity Bills

The government is set to discuss the approval of the 11th measure aimed at neutralizing the economic consequences of the Coronavirus during its extraordinary session today.

According to the decision, beneficiaries of the measure will be residential subscribers who have signed contracts for natural gas and electricity supply, and whose expenses for February 2020 did not exceed 10,000 AMD for natural gas consumption and 5,000 AMD for electricity consumption.

Support will be provided to each subscriber in the amount of 50% of the payment for the corresponding natural gas and electricity consumption during February 2020.
