Another 167 Citizens Relocate from Armenia to Georgia
Another 167 citizens of the Republic of Georgia have returned to their homeland from the Republic of Armenia. According to reports from the official Facebook page of the Embassy of Georgia in Armenia, this was facilitated with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and their Armenian counterparts.
“On April 13, the relocation of 167 Georgian citizens to their homeland was carried out. Since the declaration of a state of emergency, we have relocated a total of 576 citizens from Armenia to Georgia. The Georgian embassy expresses gratitude to the Armenian authorities for their support,” the statement reads.
The Armenian government has decided to extend the state of emergency declared on March 16, 2020, for an additional 30 days until 5:00 PM on May 14, 2020, during an extraordinary session held on April 14. The country is currently under strict regulations and restrictions.
