Masked Individuals Rob Female Soldier in Gyumri

A robbery took place in the Shirak region on April 8. Around 08:30, in the area known for its meat processing plant in Gyumri, 31-year-old Rosa A., a resident of Gyumri, was approached from behind by an unknown individual while on her way to work. He grabbed her hands, demanding that she hand over her jewelry, as reported by shamshyan.com.

At that moment, another individual wearing a medical mask approached Rosa A. from the front and removed a gold ring from her left hand and gold earrings from her ears before they both fled the scene.

Authorities are preparing materials regarding the incident. According to G. Shamshyan, the victim, Rosa A., serves in the N military unit of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia. An operational investigative group has been established at the Kumayri division of the police and the Shirak regional investigative department of the Armenian Investigative Committee.
