An RG-42 Fragmentation Grenade Discovered Near the Sports and Concert Complex

On April 9, at 14:34, the National Crisis Management Center received information that a grenade had been discovered near the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex in Yerevan. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The engineering unit of the Civil Defense Forces from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

An RG-42 type corroded hand-held fragmentation grenade was found. The engineering unit transported it to the Nubarashen military training ground, where it was neutralized.
