Armed Robbery at Local Entrepreneur's Grocery Store in Sevan
Authorities are investigating a significant theft reported on April 7 in the town of Sevan. According to Shamshyan.com, at approximately 10:00 AM, a 41-year-old resident of Sevan, Ashot M., approached the local police department to report that an unknown individual or individuals had broken into a grocery store located at 4 Nairyans Street after 5:50 AM that same morning.
The intruders used technical means to tamper with the 'Tel-Sell' terminal and made away with the cash inside. An operational group from the Sevan police department, led by Chief Vigen Aghakyans, arrived at the scene. Reports indicate that the victim is well-known in Sevan as a local entrepreneur, and the robbers absconded with approximately 1 million 100 thousand drams.
