Details Emerge on Soldier's Death: Grenade Thrown Before Shooting in Position
Details regarding the death of a soldier have emerged, according to the "Zhoghovurd" daily. Specifically, it has been reported that prior to the shooting of G.B., a grenade was thrown at him on April 4 at the NKR Defense Army unit.
According to information obtained by "Zhoghovurd," preliminary data in the criminal case launched by law enforcement suggests that a grenade exploded in the position. According to initial theories, the conscript soldier detained in connection with G.B.'s death fell asleep momentarily while on duty, and upon waking, seeing the soldier, thought he was the enemy and threw the grenade in his direction. That soldier was G.B.
Later, realizing that his comrade was injured by the grenade explosion, he feared he would be accused of hurting him and decided to shoot him in the neck to create the impression that G.B. had committed suicide.
The detained conscript soldier now claims that such an incident did not occur; however, there were other soldiers present in the position who, according to reports received by "Zhoghovurd," are key witnesses to the case and have given conflicting testimonies.
