Cement-Filled MAN Truck Overturned; Driver's Body Retrieved by Rescuers

Today, April 7, a serious and tragic car accident occurred in Gegharkunik at approximately 18:50. The driver of a MAN truck with the license plate K 878 HT 126 RUS lost control of the vehicle in the administrative area of the village of Vardenis along the Tsovagyugh-Shorja-Vardenis highway, for reasons that are still unknown, and overturned.

According to Shamshyan.com, the driver died on the spot. His body was promptly retrieved from the vehicle by firefighters from the Gegharkunik Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations who arrived at the scene. Investigators are preparing materials on the incident. The police and investigative division are working to determine the identity of the deceased.
