The Incident on Northern Avenue Was Related to the State of Emergency, Hayk Mhryan Comments

“The police wanted to stop a citizen and check his documents, but the citizen fled,” said Deputy Chief of Police Hayk Mhryan during a press conference, commenting on the incident that occurred on Northern Avenue.

“What happened was related to the state of emergency. The police officer pursued, stopped, and clarified the situation; no coercive measures were applied,” Mhryan explained.

It is worth recalling that a few days ago, a video circulated on the internet showing two police officers chasing a citizen on Northern Avenue.
