Armenian Aircraft Engaged in Illegal Arms Sales in African Countries, Prime Minister
The Civil Aviation Committee cannot be stripped of its license. It is akin to saying that the ministry has been deprived of its license. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a live Facebook broadcast.
“Our airlines have been deprived of the right to operate flights to Europe. The manipulators are doing so in vain, because I believe this specifically pertains to the sabotage of certain state bodies that I spoke about earlier. This is one of those sabotage cases. If you look at my press conference in Kapan, I discussed the activities of the Civil Aviation Committee and how some former officials, regarding whom a criminal case has now been initiated,” the Prime Minister noted.
Pashinyan pointed out that there are issues within the civil aviation sector. For many years, Armenian aircraft have been engaged in illegal activities, including arms sales, in African countries.
“There have been inspections by European organizations at the committee. There were real inspections that unveiled the true picture. The European organization deviated slightly from the rules because the discussion was supposed to take place in May. Our Civil Aviation Committee has filed a complaint,” Pashinyan disclosed.
