59-Year-Old Woman Dies from Pneumonia Diagnosis
On March 26, a 59-year-old woman died in the village of Alapars in the Kotayk region, diagnosed with "one-sided pneumonia." In a conversation with NEWS.am, the community chief Artak Saribekyan stated that the 59-year-old woman also had other health conditions. He indicated that she had been transferred to the Nork "Infectious" hospital. "I can’t say whether she died in the village or at the hospital," the community chief said. He also announced that a forensic examination has been scheduled.
The hospital informed us that they could not confirm this at the moment and advised us to call the Ministry of Health. The director of the Nork Infectious Hospital, Mher Davidiants, also stated that he could not talk without even listening to the question, and then hung up the phone.
