A 2-Month-Old Baby in Armenia Infected with Coronavirus Alongside Mother

A 2-month-old baby in Armenia has contracted coronavirus along with their mother. This was stated by the Minister of Health, Arsen Torosyan, during a live Facebook session today, March 27, adding that he had not been informed about this yesterday.

"Yes, there is such a case. Yesterday, when journalists were asking me questions, I had not yet been briefed about this. The child has no symptoms at all, while the mother had a fever for two days. The mother also currently shows no symptoms. Both of them are in the hospital under the supervision of doctors, and everything is being done to ensure their comfort as much as possible and to restore their health. I must emphasize that there is no actual need for health recovery. I hope they will be discharged from the hospital with a negative test result once the time comes," Torosyan stated.
