Breaking: First Death from Coronavirus Records in Armenia

The spokesperson for the Minister of Health of Armenia, Alina Nikoghosyan, has announced on her Facebook page that a death has been recorded at the "Nork" infectious clinical hospital.

"The 72-year-old patient had contracted the coronavirus and also suffered from bilateral pneumonia, multi-organ failure, respiratory distress syndrome, hypertension, and cardiac rhythm disturbances. Unfortunately, due to accompanying health conditions, it was not possible to save his life. The patient had been in the intensive care unit since yesterday, and his condition was assessed as extremely severe," Nikoghosyan reported.
