Car Rolls 100 Meters into Ravine in Dilijan's Curves, 2 Casualties Reported
On March 25, at 22:14, the National Crisis Management Center received an alert about a traffic accident in the winding roads of Dilijan, Tavush province, with casualties reported.
A firefighting and rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that at kilometer 86 on the M-4 highway, which connects Yerevan and Dilijan, an 'Opel Astra G' vehicle (driven by Gurgan H., born in 1993) had veered off the roadway and rolled down a ravine (approximately 100 meters).
Both the driver and a passenger were declared dead at the scene. Rescuers cut off the electricity and shut off the gas cylinder valve, retrieved the bodies, and subsequently extracted the vehicle from the ravine.
