158 Individuals Charged for Violating Self-Isolation Rules

In an effort to curb the spread of the new type of coronavirus in the Republic of Armenia, authorities have drafted administrative violation reports against 158 individuals for violating self-isolation or other restrictions on free movement during the state of emergency. This was announced by Ashot Aharyan, the head of the Public Relations and Media Department of the Armenian Police, on his Facebook page.

As of March 25 at 20:30, reports have been filed for the violation of self-isolation rules or restrictions on free movement, with 158 reports recorded—84 in the capital city and 74 in the regions. Additionally, 40 individuals did not possess identification documents. They were taken to territorial subdivisions where their identities were verified and reports were generated.

The Armenian Police urges citizens to strictly limit their movements outside their homes.
