Daniel Ioannisyan, founder of the 'Informed Citizens Union' NGO and member of the Public Council, wrote on his Facebook page: "Nikol Pashinyan, Armenia is not 8th in the world, but 61st. And there is still much to improve in terms of press freedom. For example, transparency in financing. According to surveys, the press is perceived by Armenians as the second most corrupt institution after the judicial system."
