Discussion on Nagorno-Karabakh Issue With Participation of Pashinyan and Aliyev in Munich
On February 15, a discussion regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh issue is scheduled to take place with the participation of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at the Munich Security Conference, reports Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.
The discussion is expected to last approximately 45 minutes and will commence at 20:30 Yerevan time. It will be moderated by Celeste Wallander, president of the U.S.-Russia Foundation.
Pashinyan is in Germany to attend the Munich Security Conference. At the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, he responded to questions from Azerbaijani experts regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Addressing his statement that “Karabakh is Armenia, period,” the Armenian leader declared that Yerevan would view any Azerbaijani attack on Nagorno-Karabakh as an attack on the Republic of Armenia. He also noted that unilateral actions cannot resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.
