“Nagorno-Karabakh Gained Independence Just Like Azerbaijan” - Nikol Pashinyan

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, wrote on his Facebook page:

1. Nagorno-Karabakh gained independence just like Azerbaijan.
2. Nagorno-Karabakh is a party to the conflict and negotiations, without which it is impossible to resolve the conflict.
3. There are no territories, there is security. Nagorno-Karabakh cannot compromise its security.
4. It is impossible to resolve the conflict with one or two actions. The negotiation process requires 'micro-revolutions', then 'mini-revolutions', followed by breakthroughs.
5. Any solution to the issue must be acceptable to the people of Armenia, the people of Nagorno-Karabakh, and the people of Azerbaijan, and Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh are ready to make serious efforts to find such a solution. Azerbaijan must show the same willingness.
6. The Nagorno-Karabakh issue does not have a military solution. If anyone says that the issue has a military solution, the people of Karabakh will say it has long been resolved.
