Armenia is Truly Enjoying the Fruits of the Revolution, Says Pashinyan

The entirety of the context of the revolution in Armenia was democracy, the rule of law, and the protection of human rights, and these continue to be the core agenda of the Armenian government today.

As reported from Berlin by the correspondent of Armenpress, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during his speech at the Friedrich Ebert Foundation's discussion titled "Sustainable Cooperation Under New Signs: Armenia-Germany Relations."

"I am very pleased with today’s opportunity. Exactly one year ago, I made my first official visit to Germany, and I am glad that our relations have gained such intensity. During my visit last year, I had the opportunity to meet at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, and this time it is a great honor for me to be hosted at the Friedrich Ebert Foundation. Thus, we can note that I have had the chance to engage with the two largest and most notable representatives of German think tanks over the last year," emphasized Nikol Pashinyan.

The Prime Minister recalled that a non-violent velvet revolution took place in Armenia in 2018, the essence and content of which are encapsulated in the very words: "a revolution of love and solidarity." Nevertheless, the entire context of that revolution was democracy, the rule of law, and the protection of human rights, and it continues to be the main agenda of the Armenian government today. According to Pashinyan, the Republic of Armenia is truly enjoying the fruits of the revolution today.
