Jravouj. Gas Prices Decrease

«Jravouj» newspaper reports that as of February 10 of this year, the average price of gasoline worldwide reached $1.09, compared to $1.11 in January. Yesterday, «Jravouj» noted that the prices of gasoline and diesel fuel decreased by 10 drams.

In some gas stations in Armenia, regular gasoline is sold for 400 drams per liter, while premium gasoline costs 420 drams. For instance, in the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, of which Armenia is a part, gasoline prices vary significantly.

It is noteworthy that, compared to other EAEU member countries, gasoline prices are highest in Armenia. In Kazakhstan, the average price for one liter of gasoline is 220 drams, while in Belarus it is 390 drams, and in Russia, it is 346 drams. In Kyrgyzstan, the average gasoline price stands at about 298 drams.

Moreover, it was mentioned that at the end of last year, Kazakhstan's Deputy Minister of Energy Asset Magauov announced that Armenia agreed to import gasoline from Kazakhstan, resulting in expected price reductions.
