Putin and Erdogan Discuss Situation in Idlib Over the Phone
Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed various aspects of the Syrian resolution in the context of the escalation of the situation in the Idlib region via phone.
According to the Kremlin's press service, the phone call was initiated by the Turkish side. “The discussion continued concerning various aspects of the resolution of the Syrian crisis, mainly in the context of the escalating situation in the Idlib region. The importance of fully implementing the current Russian-Turkish agreements, including the Sochi memorandum of September 17, 2018, was emphasized,” the press service's statement notes.
Additionally, it was mentioned that the parties agreed to establish further connections through the relevant departments.
