EU Must Save Iran Nuclear Deal Despite US Pressure, Says Ali Akbar Salehi
The European Union must save the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action regarding Iran's nuclear program despite the pressure exerted by the United States. This was announced on February 10 by Iran's Vice President and head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Ali Akbar Salehi, while speaking at the IAEA's international conference dedicated to physical nuclear safety in Vienna.
“The time has come for Europe to play its role as a key player of the JCPOA to save the nuclear deal by fulfilling its obligations, without taking into account the pressure from the US,” Salehi said, according to TASS.
