Prime Minister Discusses Cooperation Prospects with President of Black Sea Trade and Development Bank
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by Dmitry Pankin, President of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank. The Prime Minister noted that the economy of our country is growing dynamically and that the Government of Armenia is interested in developing cooperation with the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank, particularly in financing the private sector.
The head of the government expressed that there is significant potential for cooperation in the fields of energy, tourism, agriculture, and information technology.
Dmitry Pankin stated that his bank is primarily focused on financing small and medium-sized businesses through commercial banks in our country. However, they plan to implement projects in the areas of infrastructure and energy in the near future.
The Prime Minister welcomed the initiative, emphasizing that the trends occurring in these sectors demonstrate that there are broad opportunities for development and that the need for financial involvement will increase year by year.
“In other words, there is a wide field for cooperation,” said Nikol Pashinyan, welcoming the signing of a new credit agreement equivalent to $10 million between the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank and one of the Armenian commercial banks, aimed at funding small and medium-sized enterprises.
