Iran Plans to Launch Nahid 1 Satellite into Orbit in May
Iran is preparing to launch the Nahid 1 satellite into low Earth orbit in May of this year. The primary purpose of the satellite will be to provide wireless communication across the country's territory. This was reported on February 9 by Iran's Mehr News Agency, citing the Iranian Space Agency.
According to TASS, the satellite will be positioned at an altitude of 250 kilometers above the Earth.
