CEC Includes Agenda Item on the Timeline for Referendum Preparation and Execution
The Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Armenia has included in the agenda for its meeting scheduled for February 11 a question regarding the approval of the timeline for the main actions related to the preparation and execution of the constitutional amendments referendum on April 5, 2020. This was announced by the CEC.
“On February 11, at 9:30 AM, a meeting of the Central Electoral Commission will take place at the administrative building of the CEC. The agenda includes three items:
1. Approval of the timeline for the main actions related to the preparation and execution of the constitutional amendments referendum on April 5, 2020.
2. The report on the transfer of the mandate of an early-terminated member of the Yerevan City Council, elected from the My Step alliance electoral list, to the next candidate on the list.
3. Determining the distribution of the positions of the chair and secretary of the precinct electoral commissions for the local self-governance elections on March 15, 2020, among the parties and electoral alliances represented in the National Assembly,” the CEC's announcement stated.
