Slovenia Completes Domestic Procedures for Ratification of Armenia-EU Agreement

Slovenia has informed the General Secretariat of the European Council and the Council of the EU about the completion of the necessary domestic procedures for the ratification of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement between Armenia and the EU. This was announced on February 8 by Anna Naghdalyan, the spokesperson for the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs, on her Facebook page.

“On February 5, 2020, Slovenia notified the General Secretariat of the European Council and the Council of the EU regarding the completion of the domestic procedures necessary for the ratification of the agreement,” Naghdalyan wrote.

So far, the Armenia-European Union Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement has been ratified by 20 countries, including Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Ireland, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Finland, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Armenia, the Netherlands, and Sweden.
