Snow Avalanche Danger on the Road Leading to Upper Lars

According to the Environment National Agency, there is a risk of snow avalanches on the international Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars (border with the Russian Federation) road at the Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi segment due to adverse weather conditions. All types of vehicular traffic are prohibited in this area.

“Traffic is free on the remaining sections of the road,” the statement added.
